Each time a young person begins to think about how they can lead in the classroom, lead in their extra-curricular activities, and in their personal lives, they grow! Even in thinking about leadership, they are taking critical steps to add value to themselves and subsequently adding value to their friends, their families, and their larger communities. They begin to believe in themselves and their potential. Young people who live in their potential are less likely to be diminishers (bullies) and live lives as mulitpliers. They are less likely to take negative risks and more likely to take positive risks that lead to their “why.” They are less likely to harm themselves and more likely to want to live and reach their destiny. When young people see themselves as leaders, they naturally begin to live productive lives.
